Redditors Support Woman Who Walked Out Of Her Sister’s Ceremony Because Of The Saddening Derogatory Comments Made At Her
It is always good to be kind with words
Kids are blessings to their parents, and it’s always a joy when a married couple is expecting. When the baby finally arrives to see the world, everyone is happy, and gifts are showered on the baby.
However, it can be quite a tough time for couples who are trying to have a baby, especially when one loses a child before he or she is born.
They deserve sympathy, especially from their families, because they need all the support they can get. But in today’s story, the reverse is actually the case.
A Redditor by the name of u/FutureeMacaronn took to the AITA subreddit community to share her story. According to the post, the OP had an elder sister who is slim and fit, while she was a little overweight.
OP’s elder sister was the favorite child and was married off in an arranged marriage to a wealthy man, with whom she has three kids. Meanwhile, the OP, who has been married for two years, has had problems conceiving. OP’s elder sister always told her that she “brought shame to my parents for marrying outside our culture and that I couldn't have a baby.”
Well, she later conceived but lost the baby at four months, which is incredibly sad. Did the OP’s family help matters?
Not at all. Keep scrolling to read the full story.
