30 Pictures Of Popular Idioms Taken Too Literally And Illustrated In The Most Hilarious Way Possible
These are exceptional illustrations of different idioms of speech that are simply too hilarious.

Keren Rosen, better known to her followers as Dings & Doodles, is a freelance artist and designer residing in Tel Aviv, Israel. This illustrator has worked with various notable organizations both in Israel and abroad.
She has created illustrations for graphic novels, advertisements, magazines, and her own ventures. Keren has also designed objects for different organizations, including lighting fixtures, sneakers, and much more.
However, the illustrator noted that she always attempted to incorporate her art into her designs or to have her own side projects while she worked. The idea of depicting the literal meanings of idioms was conceived when Keren came across a fun illustration.
This inspired her to search for additional puns. She said, "Once I found more puns I liked, my mind just started to imagine the illustration, and it was a very fun mental exercise for quite a while."
Keren's artistic style is characterized by splendid colors and charming, entertaining anthropomorphic or human-like characters. In this article, you’ll get to see some of her exceptional illustrations of different idioms of speech that are simply too hilarious when taken literally.
Believe me, after viewing Keren's works, expressions such as "heavy heart," "playing with fire," or "sweetheart" will resonate with you in a different way.
