Disney Store’s 2026 Star Wars Holiday Droid Has a Winter Hat and It’s On Sale Now

Disney Store’s annual holiday droid reveal is back, and this year’s version puts a festive spin on one of Star Wars’ most familiar silhouettes. The new 2026 release, R2-H16, is available now along with several other seasonal Droid Factory items.

Disney Store and Star Wars have introduced the 2026 holiday droid, an interactive remote control unit called R2-H16. The release continues the yearly tradition of limited holiday themed droids built around the classic R2-style design associated with R2-D2.

R2-H16 keeps the recognizable domed body, three-leg layout, and chirps and beeps tied to that style of astromech, but swaps in a holiday color palette. Its markings are red, green, gold, and white, giving the droid a distinctly seasonal look for collectors who follow Disney Store’s annual special editions.

One of the standout details is a removable hat attached to the dome. The accessory includes ear flaps and a red pom pom, adding an extra layer of holiday styling beyond the droid’s painted design.

The release is aimed at Star Wars collectors and Disney Store shoppers looking for this year’s seasonal merchandise. R2-H16 also comes with a matching remote control with red and green buttons, letting owners drive it around at home or take it along for holiday visits.
