A Gamer Guy’s Misconception About A Character’s Peach Fuzz Was Put On Blast On Twitter
Someone get this guy some glasses or an anatomy book ASAP
Long-time avid gamers have witnessed how graphics have improved over the years and through every update. There has been a significant leap from pixelated surroundings and characters to realistic animation.
Game developers take pride in how well the graphics of their characters advance. These characters are often marketed beyond just gaming if people like them.
Cosplayers and even animation fans usually marvel at the realism they possess. The problem arises when gamers focus solely on these games and take them as reality; they might miss out on learning actual facts.
There's a gamer who went viral after he questioned an unusual feature (for him) of a female character in a PS5 game. He asked why Aloy, a protagonist in the Horizon game series, has facial hair, and his question went viral after being reposted.
It turns out the so-called beard was actually peach fuzz, scientifically known as vellus hair. Both men and women replied under the tweet featuring the gamer's comment with memes, sarcasm, and confusion.
The majority of them questioned whether this gamer has ever been close enough to women to know that the hair on their face isn't a beard or if he walks around thinking that his own peach fuzz is a beard.
Jesse Cox was the Twitter user...

It’s unfortunate that something like a woman’s peach fuzz would elicit such negative reactions

If he considers peach fuzz a mustache, does that mean he thinks eyebrows are also mustaches?

There seems to be a collective group of men who grew up thinking that women are consistently flawless

This says a lot about how ridiculous the gamer’s question is

The peach fuzz that Aloy has is very normal, and there could be different explanations for someone’s body hair
Ladlien
Again, people are assuming this guy hasn’t been too close to a woman
GameDadJP
With everything the game has to offer, is Aloy's body hair the one thing he can’t get over?
JamesOhBurn
Explanations like these usually create wrong assumptions among others

There are women who actually have beards, and that can be natural too

Every little thing that doesn’t fit their ‘perfect’ perception of women is likely to be marked as a flaw

A read and probably a fact

There are many artists in the gaming industry who take into consideration what real features look like. This means that it’s not always the polished and doll-like features that others expect.
This is actually refreshing to see in an industry where people have been emphasized to be too perfect and to follow the beauty standards that society has imposed. Also, this way, people can see the representation they desire.
Do you think the gamer guy is just joking? Tell us your opinions about what you think of realistic game characters.
