Percy Jackson season 3 finally reaches the part the movies missed, and Disney just showed much more of it
Disney has released the Percy Jackson season 3 trailer, previewing The Titan's Curse before the Nov. 20 return on Disney+ and Hulu.
Disney has released the full trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3, giving fans their clearest look yet at The Titan's Curse. That is a notable turning point for the franchise, because book three is the first part of Percy's original five-book story that was never adapted in the Logan Lerman films.
Disney first signaled the trailer rollout on X with a brief teaser set to Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," and the full preview is now out in the clip below. The new footage points to a darker chapter for the series as Percy is drawn into a rescue mission and then a dangerous quest tied to powerful enemies, an ancient prophecy and a growing threat to the world of the gods.
The trailer also puts several major The Titan's Curse story beats front and center. Percy heads out to save Annabeth, clashes with Thalia Grace and encounters the mysterious di Angelo twins. Fans of Rick Riordan's books will also recognize locations and moments from the novel, including the Hoover Dam.

Who returns, who is new, and when it starts
Walker Scobell is back as Percy, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth and Aryan Simhadri as Grover. Season 3 also brings back Tamara Smart as Thalia. New faces in the upcoming episodes include Dafne Keen as Artemis, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo and Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo.
Other cast members announced for the season include Jennifer Beals as Demeter, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo and Holt McCallany as the Titan Atlas. Charlie Bushnell also returns as Luke Castellan.
Season 3 premieres Nov. 20 on Disney+, with Hulu also carrying the release. For fans planning a catch-up before then, seasons 1 and 2 are currently available on Netflix as part of a three month promotional window under Disney Entertainment's licensing agreement with the streamer.
Because season 3 adapts the third book in a five book run, the show is now moving past the midpoint of Percy's main story. Disney has not officially announced a fourth season yet, which makes this trailer feel like more than a routine preview. It is the biggest look so far at the chapter where this adaptation enters territory the movies never reached.
