Women Share “Pics I Take Of My Boyfriend Vs. Pics He Takes Of Me” Contrasts, And They Are Hilarious
Do women really take better photos?
These boyfriend-versus-girlfriend photo comparisons are the kind of internet trend that never gets old. One side is usually trying to make the other look polished, while the other side is just trying to capture the moment as it happened.
That is exactly what makes the “Pics I Take Of My Boyfriend Vs. Pics He Takes Of Me” challenge so funny. The results are full of awkward angles, accidental chaos, and a few surprisingly sweet shots, all of which show how differently couples see each other through a camera.
We pulled together 30 of the funniest examples, and the contrast is impossible to ignore. Read on.

Dominic Sberna, a professional photographer, believes that the stereotype of boyfriends being 'bad' at taking pictures may stem from social media and the ease of picking up a camera. Whether this is accurate or just my perception of what I've seen, who knows?"
He shared similar experiences he has had: "I was working a summer job photographing families as they entered our local amusement park. I did my sales pitch, and the father of the family declined, saying that they weren't interested.' The person in question had no photography background prior to the job, so the irony was interesting, as I was enrolled to begin schooling in a field related to photography."
Dominic added that he tends to take more playful pictures of his wife. "I think that comes down to personality as well because we both take good photos of each other."

We live in a world where time is a precious commodity, and we are under pressure to do things quickly. "Sometimes, it's hard not to feel rushed, whether it's on vacation or photographing a family; it does happen. I'm the kind of person who needs to take my time and work into the setting," Dominic explained how taking things slowly can be beneficial.
"My first few shots of any scene aren't typically my best. I think the biggest thing to remember is to take your time and focus on what you enjoy photographing. We live in such a fast-paced world, but with art, it can't be rushed. We all want to rush (myself included), but it creates lesser work at the end of the day," he clarified.
"Focus on what you want to photograph, and if others like it too, that's an added bonus! As long as you're true to yourself, you'll be okay. Not every photo will be great or receive the praise you feel it deserves, but the important thing is to always be true to yourself in your art and in life."
