These Villainous Disney Women Got Glamorous Make-Overs Thanks To One Creative Artist
You've seen fan art of villains before, but these Disney divas take things to a new level.
Disney villains have become some of the most beloved characters in the franchise, and that shift has opened the door for all kinds of creative fan art. From Maleficent to Cruella De Vil, these characters now inspire as much admiration as they once inspired fear.
One artist from Mexico has leaned all the way into that fascination, turning Disney's most notorious women into glamorous, stylized illustrations. Her work mixes bold personality, familiar characters, and a playful sense of reinvention that makes each piece stand out.
This collection shows just how far a little imagination can go, and the results are hard to ignore.

"Grincha" created quite an interesting visual series with her Disney Divas series, which is composed of nine of the most devious villains that also happen to be women. (If this series included just the worst of the worst, we're sure Frollo would be here, too.)
The artist is a fan of Jim Carrey, The Lord of the Rings, Dragon Ball, Disney, and Jurassic Park. That's quite a diverse set of interests, and I'm sure it contributes to the fascinating choices she makes when it comes to reimagining Disney characters.
You would find it impossible not to notice how much Lion King fan art is included in her gallery, too. Disney's 1994 Lion King has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is one of the most popular animated Disney movies of all time.
Here are a few bonus examples of "Grincha's" Disney-themed artwork, because why the heck wouldn't you want to see more Disney at any opportunity you have? We certainly enjoy it.
That birthday invite feud with the jealous friend feels like the AITA where she got excluded for toxic behavior.
Maleficent Vs Jafar
It would be awesome to see a series of shorts arrive on Disney+ that pits different Disney villains against each other in a sort of "battle royale" scenario—an idea directly inspired by this epic fan art. Who would you bet on when it comes to these two villains?

"You Are Not Alone"
In 1991, Disney gifted us their animated feature-length film Beauty and the Beast, a tale as old as time, flavored with Stockholm syndrome. The movie has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

We never know what to expect when it comes to seeking out awesome Disney fan art, but a gallery of devious divas is certainly a fun and creative example of how much variety exists in the world. There's truly something for everyone, even those of you who can't get enough villains in your life.
Grincha's villain glow-ups make it easy to see why Disney's bad guys keep getting all the attention.
