Artist Uses Her Amazing Art Skills to Reimagine Famous Disney Animals as Human Beings

Disney animals like you've never seen them before

Isabelle Staub has turned a simple Disney-inspired idea into a viral art project, and the results are surprisingly beautiful. By reimagining famous Disney animals as human beings, she gives familiar characters a fresh look that feels both playful and striking.

The illustrator says the concept started while she was browsing Pinterest, where she began wondering what some of these animals might look like as people. That spark led to a series of portraits that quickly caught attention for their detail and charm.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Isabelle discussed her artistic process in detail:

“Once quarantine really hit, I had time to keep exploring this theme. Each piece varies in the time it takes, but typically it takes around 7 to 10 hours total. I would say the most difficult piece was Dory, just because she was the first of the series and I was still fleshing out my ideas, so there was a lot of back and forth on what I was going for,”

She even records videos of her creating these artworks and uploads them on TikTok.

Isabelle's art style is “extremely influenced” by Disney, and she loves revisiting her favorite Disney movies to gain inspiration.

Isabelle also talked about her future plans and revealed a little sneak peek:

“I have been wanting to do some of the OG Disney characters like Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck! I think that would be a fun challenge for me… So that might be next!”

Bored Panda asked Isabelle if being an artist has always been part of her life plans and also requested her to give some useful advice for aspiring artists who might consider her a role model.

“I have always wanted to be an artist! For as long as I can remember, I was drawing all the time,” she shared.“One piece of advice I would give aspiring artists is to keep going and keep practicing. I have been working professionally as a freelance artist for 3 years now, and I am still learning...[truncated]
