Quick context: my mother-in-law (MIL) is very artistic and loves redecorating spaces. She's redecorated her own house multiple times and often gifts us home decor items.

For background, my MIL has a habit of taking over design projects and can be quite pushy about her style preferences. Recently, we mentioned our nursery theme to her, and she seemed excited.

However, last week, when we visited her, she presented us with a completely different design plan for the nursery. It was beautifully done, but it wasn't what we wanted.
