Marvel Rivals turns Avengers: Endgame's portals moment into a 50 hero battle with Thanos
Marvel Rivals adds a new PvE mode based on Avengers: Endgame on October 24, sending up to 50 heroes against Thanos.
Marvel Rivals is going back to one of the MCU's biggest set pieces for its next limited experience. The game has announced a new Path to Doomsday mode built around Avengers: Endgame, with players joining a huge fight against Thanos.
The new mode is called Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Endgame. In the clip below, Marvel Rivals previews an in-game version of the film's portal sequence, setting up a clash in the ruins of Avengers headquarters.
This time, the focus shifts to PvE. The mode is built around up to 50 heroes fighting Thanos and his army, with Thanos shown towering over the other characters in the trailer.
The announcement expands Marvel Rivals' larger Path to Doomsday rollout. This Endgame-themed mode follows the release of Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Infinity War, which was introduced as a PvP experience.
For players, the key change is simple: a new cooperative mode centered on a large-scale Marvel movie showdown is on the way. Anyone following Marvel Rivals' Doomsday tie-ins will be able to jump into the Endgame battle when it arrives on October 24.
