Amit Cohen and Ron Leshem have been set as the writers for Zodiac. The series is described as a live-action spy thriller centered on a pair of spies pursuing targets with special abilities.

The hire adds two creators with a long list of television credits. Leshem was a creator of the original Israeli version of Euphoria, as well as its HBO adaptation from Sam Levin starring Zendaya. With Cohen, he also created and executive produced several Israeli series, including Trust No One, Bad Boy, 8200, Red Skies, and Traitor.

For Marvel fans, the update sharpens the picture around one of the company’s next live-action projects. Marvel Television recently unveiled the first logo for Zodiac and confirmed a 2028 premiere window. Production is scheduled to begin in London in Spring 2027.

Marvel Television chief Brad Winderbaum has also said casting will begin in the next few weeks, making this the latest concrete sign that Zodiac is moving forward. The series is also notable as the first new live-action Marvel show announced since last year’s Ironheart.
