Disney World quietly stretched early November park hours. Here is what changed
Walt Disney World extended hours at three parks for Nov. 1 to 7, 2026, with later Magic Kingdom access and early entry for hotel guests.
A calendar tweak at Walt Disney World could translate into more ride time during one of the resort’s busiest seasonal transitions. Disney has updated operating hours for Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Nov. 1 through Nov. 7, 2026, just as fall gives way to the holiday season.
The updated November park hours
The biggest change is at Magic Kingdom, where the week now ends later than previously listed. From Sunday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 6, the park is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 7, Magic Kingdom is now set to stay open until 11:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 p.m.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is listed at 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day from Nov. 1 through Nov. 7. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Nov. 1 through Nov. 6, then a shorter 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. day on Saturday, Nov. 7, for special event preparation.
EPCOT is not part of the expansion. Its schedule remains 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily during that same week, which also falls during the final stretch of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

Who gets the extra time, and what happens next
Guests staying at eligible Disney Resort hotels will also continue to have early theme park entry during the week. That means 8:30 a.m. admission at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, plus 7:30 a.m. entry at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. For visitors targeting popular attractions early, that window could be especially useful at rides like Avatar Flight of Passage.
The timing matters because the first week of November is a busy one for Walt Disney World. It overlaps with regional school breaks in the Northeast, including New Jersey’s annual teachers’ convention period, often called Jersey Week. It is also the point when the Florida resort shifts from Halloween decor to Christmas decorations, with Magic Kingdom known for swapping pumpkins for trees, garland and wreaths in a rapid overnight transformation.
The update also lands as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to begin a multi week maintenance closure on Nov. 2, which could put more pressure on other headliner rides in Magic Kingdom.
For anyone visiting just after this schedule window, there is another date to watch. Beginning Sunday, Nov. 8, Magic Kingdom moves into select 6:00 p.m. closings for non party guests as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins.
