Reddit User Asks Which Movie Is The Most Disturbing, and a List of the Most Horrifying Films Ever Emerged
How is it that we can be both terrified and thrilled at the same time?
Reddit has a way of turning a simple question into a full-blown horror marathon. One user asked the community to name the most disturbing movie they had ever watched, and the responses quickly spiraled into a grim list of films people still cannot shake.
The conversation pulled in everything from infamous shockers to movies that left viewers anxious, depressed, or unable to sleep. Some people named titles they could not finish, while others pointed to scenes that stuck with them long after the credits rolled.
By the end, the thread had become a brutal watchlist for anyone who thinks they have seen it all. Read on.

Do you agree with the Reddit community's choices?
Personally, I have to say that The Accused left me feeling sick. The infamous rape scene and Jodie Foster's blood-curdling screams gave me nightmares for weeks!
Isn't it crazy how films that we know are not real can still affect us on such a deep level? Some can even stay with us for life.
Sometimes, a film may even be a little too much for some individuals to bear, with many people admitting they have had to leave the cinema mid-movie on occasion. So crazy!
What are some films you have found particularly disturbing? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.
