Internet Users Shun Reboots And Name Movies That They Would Love Filmmakers To Tell From A Different Perspective Instead

"Imagine watching Transformers from Megatron's perspective?"

The most common criticism leveled against Hollywood these days is that it is devoid of originality. Numerous authors and creative thinkers are limited to rehashing outdated patterns in their work.

If it doesn't work, they simply reboot the films. According to IMDb, there are still many more reboots to come.

Although there are several adaptations of beloved books (Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Twilight), where are the truly innovative concepts?

Indie movies used to be a haven for these kinds of concepts. Unfortunately, the independent film industry has turned into a stopover for performers looking to restart their careers or for filmmakers looking to make lower-budget replicas of already released films. (Indie films, on occasion, manage to astonish and inspire in the same breath.)

According to Google, a reboot is an act or occurrence of starting up a computer system from its previous state. However, in this case, the "computer system" is a film, and it isn't just a matter of turning it on and off as you choose.

What many filmmakers haven't really considered is releasing movie sequels from a totally different perspective. It sounds controversial, but it could be the entertainment that the audience needs, rather than unnecessary reboots.

Imagine watching the Transformers from Megatron's perspective. Was he really the bad guy, or are the Autobots truly the good guys as they claim to be? That would be something worth watching!

A lot of internet users seem to be buying into the idea as well. Thousands of users have shared their opinions on movies that they would love to see from different perspectives.

Let's take a look at what people have to say about this:

There's no denying that we, as viewers, have an element of curiosity. Many of these films that undergo reboots are considered classics. As a result, we're interested to see if the resulting film is even remotely as good as the original.

In reality, the response is almost always a resounding no! When was the last time you saw a modern remake and thought, "Wow, this is so much better than the original!"? No, it's more than likely not.

Maybe filmmakers need to consider a new approach: remaking movies from a different perspective.
