Twitter User Asks People What Is The Most Memorable Fake Song From A TV Show Or Movie That They Remember
In this week’s category of music, we’ll be playing… fake songs from TV shows and movies.
Some fake songs are so catchy, they end up living in your head like they were real chart-toppers. That is exactly why a Twitter prompt about the most memorable fictional song from a TV show or movie got so much attention.
Randal Otis kicked off the conversation by asking followers to name the fake songs they still remember, and people came through with a long list of classics. From goofy one-offs to surprisingly polished performances, the replies covered a lot of ground.
Some of these tracks are funny, some are iconic, and a few are so convincing they almost feel like they should exist outside the screen. Read on.

There are many scenes in The Office that would give you second-hand embarrassment, but how about second-hand awkwardness with Jan introducing 'That One Night' by Hunter?

Just because these songs are fake doesn’t mean they didn’t evoke the same feelings as real songs produced in the music industry. Some of them may be funny, but you’ve got to admit that they made that episode or film better when they were performed.
There are probably many more fake songs that haven’t been included. Better go on a movie marathon or binge-watch TV series to discover more.
