See How These 30+ Nepotism Babies Looked Like As Children With Their Famous Parents And Now That They Have Already Established Their Own Careers
Can you recall seeing a photo of Lily Collins beside her father when she was just a kid?
People have recently realized that almost half of Hollywood is actually just a group of nepotism babies. Also called "nepo babies," these are children of celebrities who have cemented their star-studded reputation in Hollywood. Now, their offspring are making a name for themselves by following in their parents' footsteps, all while under the spotlight.
There are still many celebrities who had to work their way up to achieve the success they enjoy today. We can't exactly blame those who are somewhat skeptical about the nepotistic system, as it seems unfair that some people are born into success and fame while others must work twice as hard because they lack the network and privilege to land a gig in the entertainment industry.
The term "nepotism baby" spread across social media when people discovered that Maude Apatow, who played Lexi in Euphoria, is actually the daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann. Fortunately, she can truly act well, and she deserves the fame and recognition she is receiving now!
Now that we think about it, these "nepo babies" are scattered throughout Hollywood: Jake Gyllenhaal, Kate Hudson, Blake Lively, and Keira Knightley, among others. Let's face it, many of them genuinely deserve to be famous and successful because, even though they received a privileged head start, no one can deny that they are actually talented in their craft.
Take a look at these photos of celebrities beside their famous parents from back then, and see how they look now—then decide for yourself if you can spot some familiar faces. You might even discover some celebs here that you didn't know were actually the children of even more famous and successful stars!
