17 Hilarious Out Of Context Wikipedia Entries That Will Leave You Scratching Your Head
These will leave you with many unanswered questions.
I think just about every person on Earth knows what Wikipedia is, and most of them have ventured over to the site more than a few times. Despite the fact that teachers often look down upon using Wikipedia as a source for research, it's still an absolute goldmine of information on every little thing in our lives.
Something that happens to many of us is that we go there to find something and end up on a completely random article that has nothing to do with the original reason we were there in the first place. Hours can go by as you scour the internet encyclopedia that is Wikipedia, trying to absorb as much random knowledge as you can.
But as often happens, if you spend too much time on the internet, you'll end up on the darker and more obscure side. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though, as that's where the truly hilarious content resides.
Combine that with a complete lack of context for the odd stuff you find, and it's a recipe for some amazing content. Here, we have some of the funniest Wikipedia entries Twitter users stumbled upon, and they made sure to provide no context for these.

If you were a kid when Wikipedia started becoming more popular, then you've probably taken your own trips into the more hidden parts of the encyclopedia. I remember hours of my life being consumed by the never-ending spiral you follow when you start clicking those random articles.
But regardless of age, I think there's a lot of fun to be had for everyone who decides to check out what Wikipedia has to offer. I think I'm going to go spend a few hours there now myself.
