Redditors Support Lady Who Fired Back At Her Soon-To-Be BIL, Who Always Makes Fun Of Her Past Life
Everyone deserves a second chance.
Everyone deserves a second chance. Just because you know something about someone’s past doesn’t mean you have the right to judge them.
Everyone makes mistakes, and as we grow older, we learn and reshape our lives for the better. In today’s post, the Redditor faced her past head-on, and she handled it in her own way.
She took her post to the AITA subreddit community to share her story. According to the 24-year-old lady, she was engaged to her now-fiancé, and it happened that his brother attended the same college as her.
There’s one thing the OP revealed, though—she slept around a lot in college and was pretty well-known for it. Her fiancé and his brother, Jacob, knew this, but the problem is that Jacob liked to bring it up very often at various gatherings.
When Jacob’s birthday dinner came, family and friends attended, including the OP and her fiancé. Then Jacob started making jokes that weren’t funny, including that he was surprised the OP never took the chance to sleep with him back in college.
The OP didn’t find this funny and gave him a reply that left him pissed and silent. The beautiful thing about this is that her fiancé had her back.

It’s not fair to keep reminding people of their past lives, especially when they are trying to move on. Many Redditors believed that the OP’s soon-to-be brother-in-law had it coming since he always made fun of her past.
