30 Non-Showbiz People Spill The Tea On What It's Like To Go On A Date Or Hang Out With A Celebrity

We're used to seeing celebrities on our screens and oftentimes, we develop a crush on them especially when they are playing such charming characters. That, or they are just really extremely good-looking and their looks got paired with their irresistible charismatic personality.

It's safe to say that even for at least just one point in our life, we have dreamed of what it's like to be a celebrity that can just date other celebs, or just be a normal person free from the world of show business but still being able to date your celeb crush. The odds of that happening in real life may be low, but you should know that the chances are never zero!

There are a few lucky (and sometimes, in certain circumstances, unlucky) people in the world who actually had the opportunity to go on a date or just hang out with a certain celebrity, some were unaware that they were with a famous person, while some did not expect that the person they're having coffee with would soon bloom to be one of the world-renowned celebrities in the entertainment industry.

Some even went far lucky enough to have a relationship with them. It's like a Wattpad story that came true.

Not me but my aunt dated Weird Al Yankovic when she was in her mid 20s. I wasnt alive back then but my family tells me he was a genuinely funny person in a way you wouldnt very much expect. I cant personally give any examples but my dad and aunt have plenty of stories. One of my much older cousins actually has a signed guitar that Al played with in a live show. My aunt and Al met from my dad being a radio DJ as a teenager, and he met a lot of celebrities through that. Mostly 90 and early 2000s pop and country stars, but anyways, the station my dad worked at threw weird Al a birthday party, and my aunt just happened to be there, and they ended up together for a decent amount of time. Every once in a while Al will come into town to say hi to her. Even tho they arent together they are still friends. And no Al isnt cheating on his wife with my aunt, my aunts a strong married christian, and im more than 100% sure she wouldnt do that. Indeed, name drops were everywhere in the thread, but remember to take these stories with a grain of salt because we may never know if it's actually or not! One way or another, though, it's definitely amusing to read all these stories because it may just be the closest we'll ever get to know what it's like to date a celebrity.
