An Artist Drew Disney Princesses As Badass Pirates And We're In Love

All aboard the Disney fandom!

Yenthe Joline is turning Disney royalty into something a lot more daring, and the results are hard to ignore. The 19-year-old Dutch artist, who loves character design, Disney, DreamWorks, Marvel, and more, has built an alternate universe called Once Upon A Pirate Ship.

In it, familiar princesses get pirate makeovers that keep their original color palettes while adding swords, belts, necklaces, bracelets, and plenty of attitude. The concept gives each character a tougher, more adventurous edge without losing what makes them recognizable.
