People love to say “nothing ever happens,” but then the internet starts dropping screenshots of reality doing parkour. In this batch of public moments, strangers witnessed everything from a heron dropping a live rat into a crowded river swim zone to a guy on a segway crashing straight into a hotdog stand, and somehow everyone kept filming like it was a live event.

On holiday in Amsterdam this summer. Hot as hell, lots of people swimming in the River Ij.Watched a heron scoop up a fat rat, fly off with rat struggling, seagull tries to intercept. Heron drops live rat from 10ft above the water into incredibly crowded swimming spot.
