Disneyland Now Has a $40,000 Kermit, and Miss Piggy Costs the Same
A pair of ultra-rare Kermit and Miss Piggy replica puppets is now for sale at Disneyland, priced at $40,000 each.
Disneyland has quietly become home to one of the priciest Muppets collectibles Disney fans are likely to spot in the parks. A pair of 40 percent scale Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy replica puppets is now on sale in Disneyland Park, with each one carrying a $40,000 price tag.
The change is simple but startling for collectors. The second pair of these limited edition replica Muppets, first offered at the 2026 D23 Expo, is now available at Disneyana in Disneyland Park. They are being shown behind a velvet rope inside a vault display, and they are sold separately at $40,000 apiece.
That matters to high-end Disney and Muppets collectors because only two of each character were made. The replicas were produced by Muppet Heap and were built to work like the screen-used versions, using the same specialized materials, including custom-milled Malden Mills fleece fabric.
One pair was already set to go to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where it would be placed in Rock Around the Shop, the exit store for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets. The pair now at Disneyland appears to be the remaining set from D23.
Miss Piggy’s replica comes dressed in a leopard-print top, black motorcycle-style jacket with silver heart-shaped studs, gloves, a pink tulle skirt, and her pearl necklace. Her blonde hair is styled in loose curls. The puppet’s body is designed so an arm can be inserted to operate her mouth. She does not have legs, and her wrists are fitted with metal rods with wooden handles for arm movement.
Kermit’s version has a bright green fleece body, his familiar felt collar, and raised eyes. Each arm ends in a five-fingered hand. Like Miss Piggy, he has no legs and uses metal wrist rods for movement. His hollow body allows an operator to control both his mouth and neck.
For Disneyland guests, the update takes effect now, as both replica puppets are currently at Disneyana in Disneyland Park. For everyone else, it is a reminder that even by Disney collectible standards, some souvenirs sit in a very different price range.
