20 Redditors Share What People Complain About Like It’s A Common Problem But It Actually Isn’t
Common problems for one person might not be exactly common for the next person.
Most of us have heard a few complaints that people have made or just things that we were warned about that actually didn't turn out to be such a big problem. Sometimes, things can be a little dramatic when it comes to what children are taught, what we are told, or what is shown on television.
A good example of this is when quicksand is depicted in cartoons, making it seem like we all had to watch out for random spots of quicksand or we'd sink into it. This is just one example, but as usual, Reddit commenters came through with a lot more where that came from.
This Reddit user, CoverYourself-inOil, asked the question, "What do people complain about like it's everywhere but is actually rather rare?" This question definitely stirred the pot for some Reddit users, as they decided to post their comments below.
While we were scanning through, we noticed that there are actually quite a few examples of this, and many of them you will probably recognize as well. It seems that being dramatic about things is quite common, and unfortunately, it made us think some issues would be worse problems than they really are.
Here's the original question that brought in all the responses below.

Some of these problems definitely stemmed from our childhoods, told to us either to scare us, prepare us, or entertain us. Either way, it's safe to say that some of these crazy things we were warned about before actually don't become big problems at all.
