Incredible Artist Turns Disney Dads Into Real People, and the Results Are Mind-Blowing
Absolutely incredible results.
Disney dads have never looked quite like this. Finnish artist Jirka Väätäinen has built a reputation for turning animated characters into strikingly realistic portraits, and his take on the fathers of Disney is getting plenty of attention.
In this series, he reimagines everyone from Tarzan’s father, John, to Zeus from Hercules with sharp detail and a polished, lifelike style. The results make these familiar characters feel surprisingly real, and a few of them are even more memorable than the originals.
By the time you reach the end, it is hard not to wonder which Disney dad looks the most convincing.
#1 John, Tarzan's Dad.
Tarzan's parents are seen only briefly in the movie, but there's just enough footage for Jirka to recreate John.
