50 Times When People Got Exactly What They Requested But Not What They Expected That Will Literally Blow Your Mind
We are giving malicious compliance a foodie vibe, and we will see what happens when the subject of the request is your order.
Have you ever wondered what happens when we take things too seriously in the literal sense? Well, have you heard of malicious compliance?
It is an event when individuals interpret the guidelines given in the most direct way, and they end up literally fulfilling just the exact request or a bit more. Malicious compliance is the term used to describe when somebody takes a customer’s requests literally, knowing and intending that compliance might have adverse or unintended outcomes.
Ordinarily, it's deliberate, but sometimes it's entirely coincidental, as malicious compliance is a byproduct of this event, and it involves food orders. Anyway, such compliance has to do with our reasoning, or rather the lack of it.
We often accept something at face value to avoid the burden of thinking things through. It's much like going with a thought because it's the path of least resistance.
Alternatively, we interpret it in a manner that aligns with our values, thoughts, and beliefs. In any case, this time, we are giving malicious compliance a foodie vibe, and we will see what happens when the subject of solicitation is your food request.
Take hungry people, witty chefs, and amusing miscommunication, mix them all together, and you'll have a delicious example of malicious compliance.
