16 Rich Celebs Who Don’t Seem to Realize How Privileged They Are
Or are they just pretending? These “we are just like you” posts can sometimes be really distasteful.
Celebrities live in a world of their own. Even though they try to convince us that they are not entitled and are still just like us, not many of us believe that whole "Jenny from the block" narrative.
That's because they occasionally slip up and do things that reveal how they truly think and feel. Now, we are not judging; these actions don't make them bad people, but their efforts to portray themselves as our equals really insult our intelligence.
We understand that they need to maintain contact with their fans, but it can be quite distasteful at times. While it is true that celebrities lead lives that are more privileged than the average person's, hearing them say things that are tone-deaf and reek of luxury is never a pleasant experience.
Regrettably, many celebrities are so engulfed by their wealth and power that they cannot recognize how other people are dealing with life. Let's take a look at some of the stars who have, unfortunately, made such remarks.
Have you ever noticed how some incredibly wealthy, privileged, and well-connected celebrities like to act as if they aren't? They seem to despise acknowledging it for some reason, which is quite aggravating.
Here are 16 times they were completely unaware of how wealthy they are:
1. Kim Kardashian
She actually told working women, "Get your fucking ass up and work."
Variety2. Grimes
The Canadian singer talked about her ex, Elon Musk, and said,
"Bro does not live like a billionaire. ... Bro lives at times below the poverty line — to the point where I was like, 'Can we not live in a very insecure $40,000 house?'"

Finneas (who has wealthy and famous parents) said in a now-deleted tweet,
"'Shooting your shot' is promoted widely, and I think honestly, it's a little overrated. Work super hard alone or with your closest friends. Make great work that speaks for itself. Don't pester people to work with you; let them come to you."

14. Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner

"How blessed are we — a lot of people in this time have a crappy situation. They look at us, and obviously, we've worked hard for where we're at. We can't feel bad for the things we have, but us taking that time to acknowledge that there are people who are struggling is important."Kendall nodded along with Justin and said, "Yeah, I think about it all the time."

15. James Charles
Charles tried to justify the cost of $500 tickets to see him:

16. Dixie D'Amelio
She made a super privileged comment,
"I fully got into college in August of 2019, and I decided not to go just because traveling back and forth was going to be a lot. I was also really scared because I saw someone make a TikTok saying that they would play my songs at a frat party. That's really what, like, turned me away from going to school because I don't think I could handle that level of embarrassment,” she said.

We can’t really blame these celebs. Many of them were born into famous and wealthy families, and those who were born poor and rose to stardom on their own tend to forget where they came from.
And it is normal. It is easy to get used to fancy and expensive things. We would all act the same…
