Artist Dubbed "Viral Metal Impressionist" Delivers "Self-Care Metal" Songs About His Cat

"I hug her, I squeeze her, I boop her little nose. I tell her that I love her; I wonder if she knows!"

Anthony, the so-called “viral metal impressionist,” didn’t just mash up songs, he turned non-metal tracks into full-on headbangers with a grin. Fans started calling him that because his remixes hit like classical painting meets distortion pedal, somehow both chaotic and oddly tasteful.

Then he went and made it personal, writing “Cute Aggression” about his cat Pyretta. The whole thing blew up, and suddenly “kitty-core” wasn’t just a joke, it was a movement. Vincent’s “I love to squish her face!” vibe, the millions of views, and the flood of fans submitting their own adorable pets for the music video made it complicated in the best way.

Now he’s selling “Cute Aggression” merch, and Pyretta is basically the co-star of the entire metal scene.

Anthony has been described as a "viral metal impressionist," whose specialty is creating metal mashups out of non-metal songs.

But when Anthony wrote a song about his cat Pyretta, that's when he really found his niche! One fan even described it as "kitty-core."

"I love my cat. I love to squish her face!" Vincent sings.

Anthony's song called "Cute Aggression" went viral, receiving millions of views on social media. When the song about being so in love with your cat that you just want to squish it was released, many of Anthony's fans submitted videos of their own adorable pets to be included in the music video.

"I love to pull her ears back and look at her face. She’s so cute!"

In the song called "Rest Up," Anthony reminds his fans to stop, take a rest, and (most importantly) cuddle with their beloved cats. "Just relax, take a nap, squish your cat," he screams.

After the video went viral, Anthony even released a line of "Cute Aggression" merchandise. "Kitty-core," indeed!

That’s when Pyretta stopped being just a cat in the background and became the star of “Cute Aggression,” complete with Vincent’s face-squishing lyrics.

This reminds us of the friend who wouldn’t split vet bills after their dog attacked my cat, in a heated AITA thread.

After the song hit millions of views, fans rushed to send in their own pets, turning Anthony’s music video into a full-on kitty parade.

And when “Rest Up” dropped, Anthony basically screamed the cat version of a recovery plan, “Just relax, take a nap, squish your cat,” on repeat.

The hype got even louder when he launched “Cute Aggression” merchandise, because apparently “kitty-core” needed merch to match the chaos.

So, what do you think of Anthony's take on metal music? We think he's incredible, and we hope he continues making adorable cat songs for many more years to come. Pyretta might be the smallest member of the band, but she’s clearly running the whole metal show.
