Servers Share The Dumbest Things Customers Have Done Or Said (20 Images)
These stories are so unbelievable, yet sadly true.
Some restaurant customers manage to turn a simple meal into a full-blown headache. For servers, the job is already demanding, but rude behavior, bizarre requests, and total cluelessness can make it even worse.
That frustration is exactly what came through when Twitter user Zu gave a shout-out to servers, and service workers quickly jumped in with their own stories. The thread filled up fast with examples of customers saying and doing the absolute strangest things, from confusing food orders to jaw-dropping entitlement.
Here are some of the funniest and most frustrating ones.
Zu, a Twitter user, recently gave a well-deserved shout-out to all brave servers:

Some customers really do act like the rules only apply to everyone else.
First, there's the issue of social dominance, which refers to people who believe they are entitled to be more powerful and dominant than others.
It’s the same split-the-check mess as the fancy-restaurant friends where one person refused to pay for the pricey choices.
7. Nothing specific... just eating...

17. Yeah, you always want your salad warm...
That kind of frustration shows up in all sorts of places.
And then there is the second type. It’s those small people who are afraid to speak out at their workplaces, in college, at the doctor's office, etc.
This creates a great deal of resentment in them. When they finally get the chance to speak to someone who has no influence on their lives and doesn’t pose a threat, they suddenly find their voice and start acting as if servers are their minions.
That is exactly the kind of customer nobody wants to deal with.
