Different people, different opinions.

Studio Ghibli is loved by many worldwide, and it's easy to see why. The Japanese studio has years of experience creating masterpieces, and it doesn't seem like they are ready to stop anytime soon.

Although they have been around for decades, they still remain relevant in today's world as they continue to try new things.

Recently, the studio released a trailer for their latest movie, "Earwig and the Witch," which is yet another proof of their dedication to innovation.

The story was adapted from a popular children's book written by Diana Wynne Jones, and much like in Kiki's Delivery Service, the main character is a daring young witch. From the plot, you can already tell that it will be an exciting one, but that's not all it has to offer.

This movie, directed by Goro Miyazaki, is Studio Ghibli's first attempt at exploring computer-generated imagery (CGI). Indeed, this is uncharted territory for the company and offers a completely different feel from what their fans are used to.

Although Goro is not a novice in the animation industry, there's a pretty high bar set for him, not because of his previous projects but because of his father.

His father, Hayao, is the legend behind some of Ghibli's most significant works, including Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and a host of others.

Fans of the studio can't hold their tongues regarding their opinions on the upcoming movie, and Goro's performance as the director is a massive part of that.

Some love it already, some aren't sure where they stand, while others can already tell that it will not be their cup of tea.
