Pregnancy can come as a huge surprise to many people and lead some mothers to panic. Sometimes, the circumstances of conception are less than stellar; sometimes, there was no relationship; and sometimes, a mother thinks she's making the best choice for the child by not informing the biological father.

However, many times, especially with the advancements in technology and the prevalence of at-home DNA tests, dads are discovering they have children. Sometimes it's late into pregnancy, sometimes it's late into childhood, and sometimes it's not even until their children are already grown adults. Either way, the "surprise, you're a dad!" moment can be overwhelming. These dads shared their reactions anonymously because some of them did not respond very well.
