Some classroom lessons come with homework, and this one came with crying, diaper changes, and a lot of panicked texts. Students at Chippewa Secondary School were sent home with lifelike fake babies for a weekend project, and the results were exactly as chaotic as you might expect.

The teens were taking part in the school’s Raising Healthy Children class, where they had to care for Real Care babies that cry, need to be held, burped, and changed, while also tracking how they were handled. Once the weekend got underway, several students quickly realized parenting simulation is a lot harder than it looks.
