Travis Kelce quietly bought a $5.35 million Ohio mansion before his July wedding to Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce purchased a lakefront Ohio estate on March 2, adding an 8-bedroom, 11-bath mansion before his July 4 wedding.
Travis Kelce made a major real estate move before his wedding to Taylor Swift, buying a lakefront mansion in the Cleveland area for $5.35 million. The purchase closed March 2, making the property his new Ohio home ahead of the couple's July 4 wedding at Madison Square Garden.
A solo purchase before the wedding
Kelce was the only buyer listed on the deal for the Bratenahl estate, which sits on 3.5 acres along Lake Erie. The home has 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and more than 21,000 square feet of living space.
The immediate change is straightforward: Kelce now owns a large lakefront property in Ohio, adding to his real estate holdings before getting married. That affects Kelce directly, and it also means he has a newly purchased Ohio base connected to the Cleveland area.

What came with the property
The mansion had recently gone through a yearlong renovation, with nearly every detail either restored or replaced. That work included original door hardware, walnut and oak carvings, cut glass leaded windows and multiple fireplaces.
The third floor and lower level include entertainment spaces such as a game room and a home theater set in the original ballroom. The lower level also has a billiards room, poker area, bar, a temperature controlled wine cellar and tasting room, plus a fitness center and sauna.
Outside, the home opens to a stone terrace, a bluestone patio and a heated pool overlooking the lake. Brokers David Ayers and Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland described the estate as mixing Gilded Age character with updated luxury and said they were excited for the new owners and for Cleveland.
Kelce had already upgraded his housing in Kansas City in 2023, when he bought a gated mansion there for just under $6 million.
