“Sean and Seen“ – Person Calls Out A Coworker For Giving Her Twin Babies Ridiculous Matching Names That Sound Exactly Like Their Last Name
Sean Sean and Seen Sean. Sounds great and not confusing at all.
There are plenty of people in the world and a limited number of names. So, it's only natural that each name will be used many times.
The combination of the same name and last name is also not uncommon. However, while it's perfectly normal to run into a random person with the same name as yours, it is not as common within an immediate family.
When you have people in your family with the same name, it can be very confusing, especially at family gatherings. As a result, when a tale concerning identical names was posted on the AITA subreddit, many internet users had strong feelings about it.
Reddit user u/Deadlybutterknife from Australia shared a story about how they told their coworkers that it was utterly 'idiotic' to name their newborn twins Sean and Seen, which are pronounced identically.
Furthermore, because both parents' last names are Sean, they were having a lot of fun envisioning how astonished people would be if they met their children in the future.
The narrative, however, took an unexpected turn when, in response to the Redditor's rather honest outburst, the parents reacted in an unusual way. Scroll down to read the rest of the article; you will love it.
A Redditor gave an honest opinion about their coworkers' intention to name their newborn twins the same.

The Redditor u/Deadlybutterknife, who works in finance, claims to have worked with both of the employees for 12 years, spanning three businesses and several roles.
"We have a strong relationship and a lot of trust in each other. You can tell them anything, and they'll consider it as long as it's honest," they added, explaining how they were able to be so open about the whole naming dilemma. "A lot of people assumed I was being cruel, but the reality is that we have that kind of relationship."Even though they've already submitted the paperwork.

In their desire to be unique, parents often go overboard with their kids' names. Unfortunately, they don’t realize that these kids will grow up and start school, where other kids will pick on them for being different.
Well, these kids (Sean Sean and Seen Sean) will be the same, not different... but bullies won’t really care—they will be easy targets for constant teasing.
