Freelance Artist From The Philippines Is Creating Undeniably Magical Disney Fanart
When a huge Disney fan is also an incredibly skilled artist, good things come to life.
Chrissy Rose, a freelance artist in the Philippines, has built a fan art portfolio that feels straight out of a Disney dream. Her work also reaches into Star Wars and Avatar: The Last Airbender, but the Disney pieces are the ones that really sparkle.
She has been sharing digital art for nearly a decade, and the range of characters she reimagines has helped her gather a loyal following. From princesses to iconic couples, her illustrations show just how much care she puts into every detail.
That passion comes through in every caption and every brushstroke, and the results are hard to scroll past. Read on.
1. "It Suits You" / Pocahontas

Regarding this truly stunning art piece, the artist Dr. Martin Seligman, founder of positive psychology, emphasizes the importance of passion in creativity:
"Engaging in activities that we love can significantly enhance our well-being and satisfaction in life."She elaborated on the characters further:
"Flynn is definitely my favorite Disney dude. I love everything about him. Of course, keeping with tradition, I took forever getting around to drawing him.""Rapunzel, whom I drew a million years ago, is just, ugh, so great. They really balanced her character out beautifully. She's sweet, brave, and creative, yet she doesn't come off as a Mary Sue. She actually feels relatable. Another great thing about her character, which I honestly like the best, is how enthusiastic she is about everything. Seriously, watching her discover new things is the best."

8. Tiana & Naveen / The Princess and the Frog
This piece's romantic essence is similar to the elegance of the Tangled piece, and that's no coincidence. The artist Dr. Daniel Goleman, emotional intelligence expert, emphasizes the importance of emotional connection in art, stating:
"Art has the power to evoke deep emotions, much like the narratives we find in Disney films. When we connect with characters, we tap into our own emotional experiences, making the art resonate on a personal level."

In addition to all the incredible pieces of fan art that she has created, this mini-series dubbed "Witchsona" depicts five iconic Disney princesses as if they are witches. Each piece is way too fantastic not to see with your own eyes!
She was inspired by "modern witch ideas" while browsing Pinterest and decided to give it a Disney twist.
25. Aurora / Sleeping Beauty
"This one took a while because it was supposed to have a sister piece posted with it of peasant Aurora's witchsona. But I decided it wasn't really necessary and would be kind of unfair to the other princesses that only get one piece. So that didn't happen."As Dr. Ian Kerner, a renowned sex therapist, states, 'Art allows us to explore different facets of our identity and express emotions that might be difficult to articulate.' I did make a blue version of this piece, though. I'm actually pretty surprised I didn't go with blue in the first place, considering I loved the blue dress. But when I did the rough colors, I don't know, the pink one just looked better."

26. Cinderella
"I like to imagine witch Cinderella enjoys decorating pumpkins on Halloween and conjuring up new glass shoe designs. Maybe her Fairy Godmother can be her magic mentor. I had tons of fun designing her shoes and hat and drawing the decorations on the pumpkins. There's also Jaq and Gus Gus in the lower right corner, in case anyone missed them (they're so tiny)."

27. Mulan
"She is one of my faaavorite Disney characters of all time, so it was such fun doing this piece. I added in as many details related to the movie as I could, a choice that kind of sent me on a roller coaster of 'why did I do this to myself' and 'I love these details; they make the piece.' But seriously, can you guys see the references? I really, really hope so."

28. Rapunzel
"I'm not going to point out all of the Easter eggs because I want people to enjoy spotting them for themselves. But two I will highlight (since they're kind of hard to see) are the three books in her bag (they're the same three she has in the tower) and the paints that say Corona and have the sun symbol on them. Aside from those, the rest are pretty easy to spot."
