Walmart Delivery Driver Delivers a Barbie Doll Package Literally in the Woods, and This Woman Is Heated Over It
With the holidays just passed, we have definitely seen some pretty wild delivery stories, but this one takes the cake.
A 28-year-old woman refused to let a “delivered” Barbie doll situation slide, and honestly, I get it. She ordered a Barbie through Walmart delivery, checked the app for proof, and saw the package marked as dropped off… somewhere in the woods. So she and her sister started driving and walking up and down the road, trying to match that single screenshot to the real scenery, while she called Walmart and tracked down the driver.
Even after she got a refund, she kept searching, because this was never just about the money, it was about finding the Barbie.
This lady goes to TikTok to explain exactly what happened with the Barbie that was supposed to be delivered.
The full videos are down below, but let's check out the story and see what exactly happened.
em.kay27This screenshot shows where her order says it was delivered, but you're going to lose it when you find out where it was actually left.
Em ordered this Barbie doll and had it delivered. Once she checked the app for confirmation, she looked at where the delivery driver supposedly left it.
Em had a pretty honest response when she discovered that they left the package in the woods.
@em.kay27Em then documents her experience as she searches for the Barbie in the woods.
Obviously, this can be difficult with only a picture of the woods to guide her. Em says, “One Barbie doll could be anywhere on my road,” she said. “So here I am, driving up and down my road, trying to match this picture to the scenery.”

She films herself calling Walmart and the driver while walking her roads to find the doll.
Em documents the entire process as she walks through the woods and around her neighborhood, trying to figure out where the driver could have possibly left her doll.

In an update, she explains that she was issued a refund, but she is still determined to find the Barbie.
In a part 3 video, she provides an update while also stating that she's still searching for the Barbie itself because she is determined to find it.

Em and her sister can be seen in her videos, in the dark and rain, still searching for the Barbie.

This is when commenters came to TikTok with a mix of humor and concern.

It also feels like the pet sitter hiding the truth about a lost pet after the owner returned.
We have to be a little thankful for the humor.

I mean, this would make a little more sense and might be a pretty hilarious find.

Definitely not the Easter egg hunt that I want to participate in.

Here is the first original video that Em made about the situation.
Here's part 2 of the Barbie search.
In her last video, she explains that the Barbie wasn't found even after all their searching.
She checks the app, sees the “delivered” status, and immediately realizes the driver left her Barbie in the woods, not her doorstep.
While she films herself hunting through rain and darkness with her sister, she’s basically doing a real-life “match the screenshot to the forest” challenge.
Then she calls Walmart and the driver, trying to figure out how a single photo could possibly point to one Barbie doll on her entire road.
After Walmart issues a refund, she still posts updates because the Barbie is still missing, and the commenters are split between “this is hilarious” and “this is not okay.”
Walmart definitely needs to do better, but I think many people might have more to say about this when it comes to theories. We're just glad she got a refund, and it seems that people had some jokes about the doll in the woods.
What do you think happened to the doll? Do you think they ever even delivered it?
The refund might be handled, but that Barbie is still out there, and she is not letting the woods win.
