Moment Woman Realized That A Father Left His Kids In Her Care During A Flight Inspires Snarky Comments From Redditors
A Reddit user shared a story of how she became a free babysitter for random children on a plane because the dad overheard her saying she worked at a school for children with special needs.
Every parent has times when they are tired of their children, particularly when they're still young and love playing around. That is the reason some of them recruit babysitters so they can have a day or evening off to enjoy themselves.
It's not workable for everybody, so they simply need to manage it. Or, they could just leave them with a total stranger for a little while and take several hours of rest.
Well, that is an exceptionally bad notion, and parents should teach their children about stranger danger. But a Reddit user u/Mindfultherapist186 shared a story on the r/entitledparents subreddit about how she met an entitled father who would prefer a stranger on a plane to care for his kids.
The original poster (OP) was in the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) line, and she was behind a parent with two kids. The OP saw that the mother was completely drained, and the father was caring for her while their children were causing a bit of an uproar.
The OP, who had recently worked with children with special needs, figured she could help calm the children down a bit. After some time, travelers were loaded onto the plane, and the OP found her seat.
She saw that the exhausted mother was perched by the window and already dozing, but the father was coming in her direction with Daniel and Eric. Keep scrolling to find out what happens next.
A lady was befuddled when a father gazed at her for a long time, and it turned out that he believed it would be a good idea to leave both of his children near her on a flight

The OP received a heart folded out of a brochure from Daniel before they parted ways, and the Redditors had a lot of comments to share. But here are a few of them:

Nothing terrible happened, and from what the OP posted, it appears that the two young gentlemen were sweet kids as they allowed her to nap in peace. According to Dr. John Gray, a relationship author, "Children often reflect the emotional state of their caregivers, and in this case, the kids likely sensed the OP's calmness." The post received 13k upvotes, and you’ll agree with me that it ended in a wholesome way. Dr. John Gray emphasizes the importance of positive interactions in fostering good behavior in children.
