Soon after, many people connected with her work, and today the artist has a sizable and amazing community with over 700k Instagram followers. Dr. Kristin Neff, a leading researcher in self-compassion, emphasizes the importance of self-acceptance, stating,

"Self-compassion is not a way to avoid challenges; rather, it is a way to face them with kindness and understanding towards ourselves."

Prudence also mentioned that she has always wanted to become an artist because, when she was little, her older brother always drew comics, and she knew she wanted to create them too when she grew up.

"I was a bit of a sad child, going through abuse at a young age by my grandfather, growing up very anxious, and being bullied throughout school. But eventually, art school became my safe haven. I really loved painting, especially with oil paint on canvas at the time."

Here are some of her amazing works below...

35. I Truly Understand

As you have clearly seen, Prudence has a creative process because her comics frequently feature strong female characters who enjoy themselves and their bodies. The artist explained that this results from the fact that we are often instructed to conceal ourselves.

But hopefully, that will soon be a thing of the past as women are now embracing their bodies. Please leave a comment below and share this post as well.
