Graduation is typically a time of elated joy and celebration—the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work coming to its highly anticipated conclusion and the delight that accompanies the next step in life! To join in the celebration, people often throw parties, both big and small, to soak up all of the hullabaloo they possibly can! It is customary to offer tokens of congratulations to those who are celebrating their graduation, which usually come in the form of 'Congrats, Grad' Hallmark cards and some cold, hard cash.
However, not all graduation celebrations are created equal, and for these 12 individuals, the gifts their loved ones had in store for them were anything but celebratory.
