What makes it especially complicated is that Schreiber’s history with headaches is not exactly boring. He previously opened up about a migraine in April 2024 so intense it led to temporary amnesia, and on Late Night With Seth Meyers he described the terrifying moment he thought he was having a stroke when he couldn’t remember his co-star Amy Ryan’s name.

Transient Global Amnesia: Sudden Memory Loss and Confusion

Instead, he was diagnosed with a condition that caused transient global amnesia, a short-lived condition in which individuals experience a sudden episode of memory loss and confusion.

Although rare, the condition usually only lasts around 24 hours and can be triggered by migraines, physical exertion, sexual intercourse, emotional or psychological stress and sudden temperature changes.
