Adele Promises Fans She Will Go On Tour For Next Album After Vegas Residency Reignites Her Love For Performing Live
"I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have."
It's been more than two years since Adele's most recent album, '30,' was released, and fans have been wondering when they can expect new music from their favorite artist. However, Adele has been busy with her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace since it began in November 2022.
The singer was recently recorded at one of her Vegas shows saying, "I just don't think I'm going to write an album for quite some time." Adele followed up by promising, "But next time I do, I'll come to wherever it is you live."
The superstar has yet to reveal any details on when a new album might be expected, but chances are that fans will be waiting a little while longer. In October, Adele announced she would be extending her Vegas residency, which is now set to end in June 2024.
"This residency, these shows have changed my life," Adele said of her decision. "I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have."
Since beginning her residency, Adele has performed in front of several big names, including Lady Gaga and Shania Twain. The singer said she "s**t herself" when she learned that Gaga was in the audience wearing a disguise.
"I’ve spent a bit of time with her, but I hold her in very high regard," Adele said. "She made me really, really nervous."

Adele's residency was initially postponed amid the COVID pandemic, but it has been wildly successful since it began. "It was actually a bit traumatizing," the singer said.
"It was a real labor of love on another level because of what had happened with the initial show." Adele is proudly involved in all aspects of the production of her shows.
"I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have," Adele said. We love that for her, and we can't wait to hear some new music from this truly unique artist.
