AITA for not allowing my fiancee to wipe her tears on my nose?

A 28-year-old man says his nightly cuddle routine is getting turned into a full-on argument, and it all comes down to one grossly specific habit: his fiancee wiping her tears on the tip of his nose. He does not love it, so the couple argues, and things escalated when she started crying and told him he was being unfair and that he does not love her.

Now he is wondering if he really crossed a line, or if she’s the one expecting too much from his face.

I(28M) love cuddling with my fiancee(27F) before going to bed. Usually, this includes a half an hour of casual conversation and scrolling Reddit.

For unknown reasons, her eyes always get watery, similar to allergic ones. However, she likes to get her face close to my nose tip and use it to wipe her tear from the edge of her eye.

Naturally, I don’t enjoy this and get into an argument with her. Recently, she actually teared up saying I was being unfair and not love her.

For the love of God, someone tell me if AITA and being too harsh on her. Thank you

Right before bed, the Reddit scrolling and half-hour chats are apparently collateral damage to the “nose wipe” situation.</p>

Every time her eyes water, she moves her face to his nose tip, and he immediately feels like he’s being used as a tissue.</p>

Then she teared up during the argument, calling him unfair, and suddenly the cuddling debate turns into a love accusation.</p>

With his fiancee crying and him saying he just cannot stand it, he’s stuck between “I set a boundary” and “I hurt her feelings.”</p>
