Woman Shows Off What She Found While Dumpster Diving at Apple Store, and the Internet Is Pretty Surprised
If you've ever wondered what you can find in an Apple dumpster, then this might give you a sneak peek.
Some people treat an Apple Store like it’s untouchable, like the doors are sealed and the products only exist behind glass. Then along comes a dedicated dumpster-diving TikToker who turns “behind the scenes” into a full-on haul video.
The creator, @glamourddive, posted a viral clip showing what she pulled from an Apple Store dumpster. She starts with empty product boxes that still have resale value, then moves on to a charger cord, an unused iPhone case, and even an Apple Pencil box where she checks the contents and finds the tips still packaged. She also spots an Apple Watch band and a handful of stickers, so the comments are half shocked, half hoping for a whole iPhone.
It’s wild, it’s a little messy, and it makes you rethink what “thrown away” really means.
This TikToker is actually dedicated to dumpster diving videos, so it's not surprising to see her post this video.
The TikTok account called @glamourddive shared a video that went viral after she showcased some items she found in an Apple Store dumpster. In the video, you can first see her grabbing some empty product boxes, which actually sell for something online.
@glamourddiveShe finds a few more things, and even though she didn't find a whole iPhone, it was still a great find.
She shows a few different items she found, including a charger cord and an unused iPhone case. Many viewers were probably hoping to find something like a whole iPhone or a computer, but that wasn't the case.
@glamourddiveShe then found an Apple Pencil box, which seemed to have the unused pencil inside it.
In the video, you can hear her say, “OK, I checked this Apple Pencil box, and it actually has them inside,” Ella said as she showed off the Apple Pencil tips inside the box, still in their package. “And they don’t even look used.”
She also ended up finding an Apple Watch band and a few different stickers as well.
It's important to note that many companies don't just toss out their highly valued products, like computers and phones, so you most likely won't find anything like that in their dumpsters.

Here's the original TikTok video where you can see her going through it.
First, she’s snagging empty Apple product boxes, and somehow those “nothing” finds are the ones people actually want to buy online.

Next comes the part where the video gets extra tempting, the charger cord, the unused iPhone case, and the comments instantly shifting from “cool” to “wait, really?”
Then she reveals the Apple Pencil box twist, she checks it on camera and finds the tips still in their package, not used or messed up.
Finally, after the Apple Watch band and stickers make an appearance, the whole thing hits a reality check because companies usually do not trash whole phones and computers.</p>
This video was super cool, and we love covering things like this because it's quite entertaining. Dumpster diving isn't for everyone, as it's not the most sanitary, but it is pretty cool when you come across some awesome products.
Have you ever been dumpster diving, and what do you think about her finds?
The internet is stunned, but the real surprise is how much “almost nothing” can still turn into a pretty good score.
