Internet Calls Out Bride Who Tells The Bridesmaid To Either Dye Her Hair Or Wear A Wig For The Wedding
The bride described her bridesmaid's tresses as 'Merida' hair and demanded that she change it to suit the color theme.
I fully anticipated that I would be a 'Bridezilla'; strangely, I wasn't. I am extra in many ways (I got eyelash extensions at 39 weeks pregnant), but when it came to my wedding, I was oddly chill.
Both my bridesmaids were skinny, blonde, gorgeous girls. My husband got married in full Naval Military Dress Blues, which definitely took attention off me. My dress wasn't wildly expensive, but I loved it, and my wedding day was one of the hottest, most humid days of the year, and I handled it perfectly fine.
Here's the thing: not everyone is as relaxed as I am.
Recently, a bride asked on Reddit's 'Am I The Asshole?' section if she was being a jerk by wanting her cousin/bridesmaid to dye her long red hair or wear a wig.
I'm pretty sure I don't even have to tell you that, of course, the Internet called her out and ensured that she knew she was, in fact, 'the asshole.'
Check out how it all unfolded below.
Here's how it all started on Reddit's AITA? (Am I The Asshole?).
Reddit'Merida Hair'

Of course, Reddit reacted as you'd expect, telling her she is, in fact, the asshole.
Reddit
AMEN! Don't trash Merida!!!
Reddit
Why damage your hair for something like a wedding that isn't even yours?
Reddit
Sounds like jealousy over the cousin's gorgeous hair.
Reddit
Exactly this.
Reddit
Peacocks and Merida would actually go nicely!
Reddit
"Get over yourself!"
Reddit
HERE'S THE TWIST! The bridesmaid hit the Internet and asked if she was, in fact, being an asshole for refusing to dye her long, red tresses -
Reddit
She included this photo of her naturally long hair.
Reddit
Of course, not only did everyone remember the bride's post, but they fully supported the bridesmaid in keeping her 'Merida hair.'
Reddit
Hearing both sides is kind of awesome.
Reddit
They complimented her hair over and over.
Reddit
Of course, the Internet couldn't even comprehend the entire situation.
They fed on it for days...
...and days...
...and DAYS!!!
It's honestly pretty unreal!
