10 Most Surprising Legendary Celebs Who Don't Have A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
How can they not have their name on there yet?
We think most of us can agree that getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is almost every celebrity's dream and ambition. Getting your name on there not only proves that you are famous all around the world but also that you're recognized as an icon whose works will leave a lasting impression on the next generation and treat them as legends.
We all know that getting a star there is not easy, though. You have to work hard to climb the ranks, make the right career decisions, and earn the trust and love of millions of people.
To get a star there, you have to be one of the greats in your industry. A few people who have already made it there include Julie Andrews, Nicolas Cage, Jackie Chan, Bill Cosby, and many more.
Strangely enough, though, there are tons of legendary celebs out there whose names you won't find on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Everyone knows them, and they're considered the best of the best of their respective generations; however, they don't have a star yet.
Here's a list of famous celebs who surprisingly aren't on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yet.
1. Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood superstar who has worked on a number of iconic films like The Mule, Cry Macho, and Sully. He has also won five Academy Awards, five Golden Globes, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and five People's Choice Awards.
Apparently, though, the reason he's not on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is that he declined a star and has never made a statement explaining why.

Now, Washington is not just a simple celeb. He's a legend, and most can agree that he deserves a star on the Walk of Fame.
He was chosen and nominated for a star on the iconic walk; however, he has yet to schedule a date for his ceremony. He even confessed, “Even within the industry, I don’t have any actor friends. My friends are old friends.”

Angelina Jolie has a collection of major accolades throughout her career as an actress. She has always been a versatile actor, and the general audience can agree that she flawlessly depicts her character every time.
Despite that, she has never received a nomination for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is a huge mystery to everyone.

Beyonce has won 28 Grammys and received numerous other awards for her work in music. Even today, she never fails to impress with her performances and always gives it her all. When it comes to the famous walk, Destiny's Child has received one, but Beyonce has yet to receive one as a solo artist.

Al Pacino is a household name and a well-known, respected actor who has been in a number of acclaimed films. He was offered a star on the iconic walk, but he never set a date for his ceremony, which is why he never claimed it.
Although the reason for that is unknown, he's still regarded as a legend.

Richard Gere is a well-known actor who is considered one of the greats of his time, having acted in a number of critically acclaimed films. Many people believe he should be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; however, he has never been nominated.
Still, he's an actor that many continue to admire to this day.

7. Leonardo DiCaprio
We think many can agree that the right recognition for Leo's works is a little slow in coming. Although he has won many awards, it took quite a while before he finally won an Oscar.
Despite his name being a household name as well, he has never been nominated for a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

8. George Lucas
George Lucas has undeniably helped change the movie industry, given that he was part of the Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises; however, he has not yet been given a star. Even Francis Ford Coppola offered his star to him, saying, “If anyone deserves a star on the Walk of Fame, it’s George. I’ll give him mine.”

Madonna is iconic, and she has helped define an entire generation of music. Her performances are always top-notch, and she continues to serve as an inspiration for many people out there.
She was nominated for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but apparently, she wasn't interested and declined the offer. The reason is still unknown; yet she remains in many people's hearts.

The fact that these stars don't have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is definitely surprising. Their names are known worldwide, and even the younger kids of today continue to admire them and treat them as their role models.
They're also some of the greatest of their respective generations. They're already pretty iconic, though, and we know their names are going down in history, so maybe they don't really need the star anyway?
