50 Celebrities and Companies That Got Publicly Owned On Twitter For Living In Their Own Bubble
Are they socialists now since they have a knack for getting publicly owned?
During the start of the pandemic, a group of celebrities made a video while singing the song “Imagine” by The Beatles. They thought it was what people needed while staying home, trying not to die.
It was, by far, one of the most out-of-touch moments we’ve seen from celebrities. They really planned, filmed, edited, and posted all of that voluntarily, believing they did a great job.
Not only did their efforts not help in any way, but they also backfired. The celebrities involved in that mini-project received backlash from many people, and attempts to “educate” them were made.
They could have tweeted a bland statement and a #StayAtHome, and people would have received it better. Instead, they decided to showcase their McMansions and made the pandemic all about them while thousands were dying all over the world.
That one video alone clearly illustrated the gap between the rich and us common folks. The blatant display of wealth, in contrast to the daily struggles of people trying to survive, was a very loud wake-up call.
Of course, we can't expect them to understand the things we plebeians go through every day. That's a big ask, and it's obvious from their tweets that these people are so far out of touch with our reality.

Remember, you have a lot more in common with the working class than with billionaires. So stop defending them; they don't care about you; they're too busy thinking about how to exploit you.
We'll probably never be able to meet the 1%, so it's definitely nice to give them a little wake-up call on Twitter from time to time. Let's hope they keep showing their asses with their tweets.
