In the best-case scenario, both parties will treat each other with respect and kindness, and both of them will be able to move on. Sometimes, though, one person gets stuck and stays hung up on their ex for a little longer than they should.

This doesn't always mean that they want to get back together with that ex, although that sometimes does happen. More often than not, it's about having unprocessed feelings, unfinished business, or just generally not fully being over that person.

Getting back together after 20 years, with multiple marriages in between, seems like the ultimate sign that Ben, or maybe even Jennifer, really hasn't gotten over each other at all.

3. Sean Penn

Sean Penn has already been down the aisle three times, but it's that third marriage that seems to have him hung up. In a recent interview, he revealed that he is still in love with his most recent ex-wife, saying, "There's a woman who I'm so in love with, Leila George, who I only see on a day-to-day basis now because I f---ed up the marriage."

It seems that rapper Future just can't let go of his former beau, Ciara. For one, he can't stop mentioning her name, and he's well-known for saying harsh things about Ciara's husband, Russell Wilson.

Back in 2022, Ciara and Russell were also seen leaving the Super Bowl party just as Future was set to perform, so maybe things are still a little tense between them all.
