Some of us are fortunate enough to meet our favorite actor or actress once in a lifetime. But what if we told you that a few lucky fans are married to their celebrity crushes?
We all love stories with a happy ending, and we also love fairytales.
The stories we have prepared for you here are a combination of both: real-life fairytales of regular people who married their celeb crushes.
Of course, some of these relationships didn’t turn out to be fairytales, nor did they have a happy ending, but for a while, that’s what they appeared to be (Cruise and Holmes).
Many of these marriages fail because it is not easy being married to a celebrity. Their lives involve travel, public appearances, and, most importantly, many more fans.
Let's be honest: it is hard to remain faithful when so many people out there have made romanticizing with you their bucket list entry. So we genuinely admire celebs who managed to make their marriages work, whether they are married to a star or a “regular” person.
Well, without further ado, here is our list of people who got to marry their celebrity crush (regardless of how it turned out later). Enjoy.
1. Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman
Anne Hathaway's admirer Adam Shulman met her during the Palm Springs Film Festival, and Anne fell for him at first sight. The couple got married in 2012.

Jackie played alongside Adam in Big Daddy in 1999. They tied the knot in 2003, and she even converted to Judaism for him. They have two beautiful daughters.

They met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2005, where he was a production assistant. It surprised many that Jessica fell for him. After four years, they got married in Los Angeles.

5. Julia Roberts and Danny Moder
Moder met Roberts on the movie set of The Mexican in 2000, where he was working as a cameraman. They got married in 2004 and now have three children.

6. John Travolta and Kelly Preston
Though they are both famous, Kelly remembers how she was only 16 when she saw a poster of Travolta and said, "I'm going to marry that man." They have been happily married since 1991.

Patrick met his fan and the love of his life at a hair salon where she used to work. The couple married in 1999, and Jillian still does his hair.

Marrying your celeb crush does sound like the wildest fantasy coming true. Unfortunately, it does not guarantee a happy ending.
Many of these marriages end in divorce, but then again, so many “regular” marriages end up in divorce too.
So, if it’s going to end anyway, it might as well be with a celeb.
