We all know that our childhood is much different from our parents', but we don't know just how different.
If you're someone who was born in the 90s, then you've probably heard from your parents or grandparents just how different things are. We hear it all the time, and there have been many instances where they've shared what differences they are referring to.
Whether it be the difference in how their school was set up, what they did for fun then versus now, or even just how they were disciplined, we have probably all heard it at least once, and we will likely be the ones telling our future kids that too.
There are many things we can think of that our grandparents and parents were allowed or not allowed to do that differ from our experiences. That's the beauty of different generations and looking back on how times have changed.
Today, we have some of the oddest or most surprising things that people have shared about their childhood experiences from the 70s and 80s. These experiences can be worse than what we deal with, better than what we deal with, or even just weirder than what we deal with.
