I (28M) work at a graphic design firm where collaboration is key. Recently, my coworker 'Alex' and I were assigned a high-stakes project.

We brainstormed ideas together, put in countless hours, and finally presented the project to our boss. However, during the presentation, Alex conveniently claimed all the credit, not once mentioning our teamwork.

For background, Alex has a reputation for being overly competitive and craving recognition. This isn't the first time they've tried to overshadow me.

Their behavior left me feeling frustrated and undermined. After the meeting, I felt a mix of anger and disappointment.

I couldn't hold it in any longer and confronted Alex at their desk in front of other colleagues. Things quickly escalated, voices were raised, and accusations flew back and forth.

Our team lead had to intervene to calm us down. Now, tensions are high in the office, and our working relationship is strained.
