24 Of The Cringiest Scenes From Movies And TV Shows That Have Us In Emotional Pain
There are just some scenes that should not have existed at all.
Making a movie is not cheap at all. That's why writers and directors have to think carefully about every scene they include so that they're not wasting the actors' time and the studio's resources.
Sometimes, though, we think people get a little too caught up in the moment of what they're writing, and they accidentally include scenes that are too cringy to bear (at least we hope it's accidental).
Sometimes, there's an extra kissing scene that doesn't make sense or some kind of weird pickup line that makes even the corniest pickup line ashamed of itself. Watching it makes us want our seats to swallow us whole.
And while you may think these only exist in mid-tier movies, oh boy, you're hugely mistaken. Cringy movie moments also exist in blockbuster films that are considered to be some of the best movies or shows we've had so far.
Game of Thrones, Glee, Harry Potter, Star Wars—all of these haven't escaped the cringe-fest. In fact, they contain some of the most embarrassing movie moments in history.

These scenes were just some of the worst in movie history, and we wonder why anyone would ever think of including them. Seriously, was it just meant to torment us all?
Hopefully, though, the filmmakers have gotten better at judging whether a scene is cringy or not, so they won't make it to our screens and scar us for the rest of our lives anymore.
